I Wish All My WISHES Will Come True
(2024)
In "I Wish All My Wishes Would Come True," I explore the story of a character struggling with her inner madness, symbolized by the relentless buzzing of a fly she just can't escape. As her frustration mounts, she tries to silence the fly, but in her desperation, she begins pulling out her eyelashes and gradually loses her grip on reality.
For the music and sound design, I aimed to capture the feeling of contained chaos. I experimented with layering as many elements as possible while maintaining a strong, coherent emotional thread. The goal was to reflect the character's mental unraveling through a soundtrack that feels intense and unsettling, mirroring her descent into madness.
The Beauty Of Walking (2023)
This abstract short animation features a carefree blue circular creature wandering through a void-like universe. As it drifts aimlessly, it suddenly encounters a yellow circle. This chance meeting stirs something within, compelling the creature to collect the yellow circle. This triggers an insatiable hunger, driving it on a relentless journey to consume more and more circles. Ultimately, this obsession leads to its tragic demise, overwhelmed by its own excess.
For the music and sound design, I aimed to strike a balance between whimsical and magical, perfectly complementing the unique art style and narrative of the animation.
I Am Fish (2023)
"I Am Fish" is a short animation that explores the whimsical and introspective journey of a few creatures as they navigate the delicate balance between freedom and confinement. The animation was crafted using digital puppeteering techniques, allowing the animation to be performed live to a prearranged soundtrack. This method of creation proved to be both enjoyable and inspiring, adding a unique dynamic to the storytelling process.
